The Pennsylvania State Police and several other law enforcement agencies are scheduled to participate in a large training in Center Township.
Officers will train at the Community Alliance Church on Mercer Road between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
Officials say there will be a large police presence in the area- including police horses, low-flying police helicopters and smoke- but everything is being closely monitored.
The Butler Area School District alerted parents of the training on their website.
