Slippery Rock University senior offensive lineman Cory Tucker from South Park, picked up his third All-America honor of the season Thursday afternoon when the Associated Press (AP) Little All-America team was announced. The AP Little All-America team selects the best “small college” players in the country and includes players from Division II and Division III.
Tucker was named to first team honors and is one of just five linemen from more than 300 NCAA Division II and Division III football programs to make the first team. He was previously named to first team All-America honors by the American Football Coaches Association and the Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association this fall. Tucker was also named to first team All-Region and first team All-Conference honors and finished third overall and first among offensive linemen in the national voting for the Division II Gene Upshaw Lineman of the Year Award.
