The Slippery Rock University men’s basketball team continued its impressive midseason turnaround with a 79-74 victory over Edinboro University Wednesday in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division action from Morrow Field House.
The victory moves The Rock into sole possession of sixth place in the PSAC West standings and gives SRU four wins in its last five games. It also gives The Rock four wins in five tries against the teams currently ranked Nos. 2-4 in the PSAC West standings, all of which have at least 10 conference wins.
Slippery Rock now sits at 12-10 overall and 7-9 in PSAC action with six games remaining in the regular season

The Slippery Rock University women’s basketball team cut a 13-point deficit to just five points in a span of 23 seconds in the final minute of regulation, but it wasn’t enough as Edinboro University came away with a 78-70 win in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division action last night at Morrow Field House.
With the loss, SRU drops to 11-11 overall and 7-9 in the PSAC. Edinboro improves to 16-7 overall and 11-6 in conference action.
