The seventh-ranked Slippery Rock University football program completed its roster Monday afternoon with the addition of Rutgers University graduate transfer running back Charles Snorweah, who joins five other summer transfers to the The Rock program. Among those transfers is Butler high school graduate Nick Stazer, a 305-pound redshirt freshman offensive lineman, who transfers in from the University of Pittsburgh.
The Rock will open their season September 5th in Detroit against Wayne State. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference will host their annual media day August 5th in Lock Haven.
Reigning national champion Clemson are the heavy favorite to win a fifth consecutive ACC championship after the Tigers earned 170 of the 173 media votes in the preseason media poll released Monday. Clemson was picked to win the ACC Atlantic Division ahead of Syracuse. Virginia was picked as the Coastal Division favorite over Miami. Pitt was picked to finish fourth.
