The Slippery Rock University football team defeated Clarion 65-13 Saturday at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium to win the annual “Milk Jug” game, and will play for the PSAC Championship for the third consecutive season next week. The Rock will travel to West Chester Saturday for a noon kick-off. A win in the title game would likely bring The Rock back home to host an NCAA Division II playoff game November 21st. The Rock improved to 9-1 this season. West Chester gained entry to the title game by defeating East Stroudsburg 41-27 combined with Kutztown’s 51-27 win over Shippensburg. Shippensburg would have controlled their own fate with a victory.
