Legendary outfielder Willie Mays died Tuesday at the age of 93. Mays was known as the “Say Hey Kid”, made 24 All-Star teams, won two National League MVP awards and had 12 Gold Gloves. He ranks sixth all-time with 660 career home runs, becoming the second major league player at the time to reach the 600 home run plateau following Babe Ruth. He is one of three players in baseball history to hit 600 home runs and steal 300 bases. Mays won the 1954 World Series with the New York Giants and was a first ballot Hall of Famer in 1979.
