Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Jon Niese pitched well but gave up three solo home runs as the Reds beat the Pirates 3-2 last night. Niese struck out four in 6 2/3 innings. Francisco Cervelli and Jung Ho Kang drove in a run apiece in the sixth. Game 3 of the series will be tonight at 7:10. Juan Nicasio goes for the Bucs.
