Although some businesses have holiday hours today, many are closed for Thanksgiving.
Municipal offices and all offices at the county, state and federal level are closed both today and Friday, including the Butler County Courthouse, Government Center and Government Center Annex. The Butler City Building is also closed both Thursday and Friday. It will re-open Monday.
PennDOT Drivers License Centers, including the one on New Castle Road in Butler Township, are also closed Thursday and Friday.
The post office is closed. Banks are closed.
The Butler Transit Authority (which operates “The Bus”) will not operate on Thursday. Regular bus service will resume on Friday.
