Police were involved in a car chase on January 6, 2016 that went through four different townships.
The suspect, 31-year-old Margaretta Askey of Templeton, PA was seen traveling in the wrong direction on route 422, which is a divided highway. She lead police 12 miles at a pace of nearly 80 miles per hour. Police say at one point, Askey intentionally steered her vehicle into the side of a police cruiser as they attempted to stop her. The chase started in Manor Twp and ended in Clearfield County.
Nobody was injured however 18 civilian vehicles suffered minor damage.
