A teenager from Maryland has been charged following an alleged stabbing in Slippery Rock.
State Police were called to Cooper’s Lake Campground around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night for a reported stabbing.
Police spoke with a 15-year-old male suspect who allegedly confessed to stabbing a 47-year-old man in the stomach with a three-inch knife. The suspect told police the victim pushed and punched him in the face before the stabbing.
The unidentified victim was taken to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment. His current condition is unclear.
The teen is being charged as an adult but is currently being held in a juvenile detention center.
