The Pittsburgh Foundation was forced to suspend Tuesday’s Day of Giving due to technical problems.
The issues originated at the software company and “severely disrupted the ability of tens of thousands of donors to complete transactions on coordinating organizations’ websites,” according to the foundation.
More than 1,000 nonprofits in Butler, Allegheny and Westmoreland counties participate in the Day of Giving, which was scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to midnight Tuesday.
The event will be rescheduled.
