The federal tax deadline is quickly approaching.
Tax Day is Tuesday—which is a bit later than usual because the typical Tax Day is April 15th, but that was on a Saturday. The IRS says the tax deadline cannot happen on a weekend.
There are automatic six month extensions available for everyone that can be done for free.
The IRS says most individuals file their taxes well before the Tuesday deadline.
