Seneca Valley Middle School will receive statewide recognition at a February conference.
Seneca Valley Middle School will be designated a “School To Watch” by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle-Grades Reform on Feb. 26 in State College. This award is presented as part of a partnership between the PA Department of Education, the PA Association for Middle Level Education, and several area universities.
Schools are selected for recognition for academic excellence, responsiveness to needs of young adolescents, and commitment to helping all students achieve at a high level.
This is the second time that Seneca Valley Middle School has received this honor. The school was first designated a “School to Watch” six years ago.
