Justin Haley won the rain-shortened Nascar Monster Energy Cup race Sunday at Daytona International Speedway. Haley was making just his third start in the Cup Series. He took over the lead just before a lightning delay with 33 laps remaining, and when the race was eventually stopped due to rain, Haley was declared the winner. William Byron was the runner-up with teammate Jimmie Johnson third. The race was to have been run Saturday night, but was postponed because of weather.
