The first College Football Playoff Rankings of the season have been released. Ohio State is #1. Penn State is #4. The Nittany Lions are off to an 8-0 start. They travel to Minnesota this Saturday. Minnesota has also begun the season 8-0. LSU is the #2 team, Alabama is #3. Those two teams meet each other this weekend.
Penn State will visit Ohio State November 23rd.
In the first playoff rankings, 9-0 Clemson is on the outside at #5, followed by Georgia, who are the first one-loss team at 7-1.
The Playoff semifinals match the #1 and #4 seed, and the #2 and #3 seeds December 28th.
