PennDOT is warning drivers that they could see delays on I-80 as a “superload” makes it way westbound.
A truck will be hauling a nearly 300 ton piece of equipment this weekend. It started its journey in Susquehanna County on Wednesday and is expected to arrive in Wampum, Lawrence County next Friday.
It’s a very slow-moving truck that will use two lanes at a time. Most of the travel will be done during the nighttime.
The route avoids Butler County, but goes through Clarion, Venango, Mercer and Lawrence Counties.
