An event to benefit a therapeutic riding program for handicapped young people is being held this weekend.
The annual Ride-A-Thon to benefit Riding for the Handicapped of Western Pennsylvania is being held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the North Park Show Ring in Wexford.
Participants will receive a free lunch after the ride as well as shirts or gift certificates depending on the amount of pledges collected.
Riding for the Handicapped of Western PA is a therapeutic horse riding program for children and young adults with disabilities run by volunteers and funded by donations. For more information, visit rhwpa.org.
