Legislation to allow hunting on Sundays is one step closer to becoming law.
The bill was approved by the state Senate earlier this week and now heads to Governor Tom Wolf’s desk to be signed.
The law would allow hunting on three Sundays during the year—one during rifle season, one during archery, and a third Sunday would be determined by the state Game Commission.
Senator Joe Pittman voted in favor of the bill while Senators Scott Hutchinson and Elder Vogel opposed it.
