Before you head to Butler’s Christmas Parade on Saturday evening, bring a toy to help ‘Stuff the Bus’ and help local kids.
The Butler Transit Authority’s Santa Trolley bus will be parked at the Peoples Gas parking lot from noon until 3 p.m. on Saturday.
Transit Authority Executive Director John Paul on what all is needed and who will benefit.
“We collect toys in cooperation with the Salvation Army who does the distribution,” Paul said. “We collect non-perishable goods, canned foods, unwrapped new toys and children’s clothing sizes five to 14.”
The Santa Trolley will also be parked outside the Clearview Mall (near the Food Court) on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. as well as next Sunday, December 8th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the parking lot of Target.
All donations will benefit the Salvation Army’s Christmas Toy Drive.
