Winter road maintenance will look a little more “colorful” this year.
PennDOT got local students involved in their first-ever “Paint The Plow” contest where student artists literally decorated the underside of a snow plow.
Nine school districts participated in the program, including students from the Butler Vo-Tech. The decorated plows will be mounted to a plow truck in the respective school districts this winter season.
