Emergency crews have been called to a structure fire in the Harrisville Borough area.
The building, which was reportedly fully engulfed in flames, is on Route 58, otherwise known as Eau Claire Road, in Mercer Township. Upon arrival, firefighters indicated heavy smoke coming from all sides of the building.
It is thought that this location was the site of a previous fire some time ago and renovations were underway. No word on what cause the fire Thursday morning.
Multiple fire departments have responded. Traffic has been blocked at Campground and Route 58.
The call to Butler County 9-1-1 was around 10:13am.
