Strong storms moved through Butler County on Tuesday afternoon and caused some problems.
Firefighters were called to a house on Old Glade Mill Road in Middlesex Township around 12:30 p.m. for a possible fire due to a lightning strike. The home sits was off Route 8.
And then around 1 p.m., a call came in for a townhouse that was possibly struck by lightning on Castle Creek Drive in Seven Fields Borough. Residents reported smelling smoke and seeing an outlet pop out of the wall.
Several departments were called to each scene but damage appeared to be minor.
