There continues to be no progress following more contract talks late last week between the South Butler School Board and the teachers association.
According to an update by the school board following the most recent negotiation session on Thursday, the teachers union provided the board with a revised proposal about in-service days which the board rejected. The board provided the teachers with a four-issue proposal which the teachers rejected.
There was no progress made in the areas of wages, health care and post-employment benefits. The meeting lasted for about two hours.
The next bargaining session is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 26.
