The Pittsburgh Steelers were back in action Sunday, as they beat the Atlanta Falcons 17 to 13..
Josh Dobbs started at quarterback for the Steelers, and third round pick/University of Pittsburgh graduate James Conner , making his preseason debut, rushed for 98 yards on 20 carries.
In addition to Conner, the game marked the preseason debut of wide receiver Martavis Bryant. Playing in his first game in 19 months because of a drug suspension, Bryant had two catches for 20 yards and lost a yard on a reverse.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and wide receiver Antonio Brown were held out of Sunday’s game.
In the second half, the Steelers used a 64-yard punt return from Trey Williams and Bart Houston’s 6-yard touchdown pass to Justin Hunter to pull out the win.
The Steelers kickoff the 2017 regular season on Sunday, September 10th.
