The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Los Angeles Rams Sunday at Heinz Field. Kick-off is 4:25pm. Pre-game on WISR is 2:25pm.
It is the second time in Steelers history that they have bounced back from a 1-4 start to even their record at 4-4. The last time was 1976.
Thursday Night Football:
–Oakland defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 26-24 when Raiders running back Josh Jacobs scored on an 18-yard run with just over a minute remaining in the game. Oakland improved to 5-4. Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers threw a touchdown pass to give Los Angeles a 24-20 lead with just over four minutes remaining. The Chargers all to 4-6.
College Football Saturday:
–Penn State will visit Minnesota for a noon kick-off. Both teams enter the game 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the Big Ten. The Nittany Lions also enter the game ranked #5 overall in the nation, and are the #4 team in the first College Football Playoff rankings.
–Slippery Rock will visit Gannon Saturday for a noon kick-off. Hear the game on The Rock Station 97.7fm beginning at 11:30am with the Coach Shawn Lutz Show. The Rock is seeking to go 10-0 for the first time in school history.
–Pitt is idle this weekend. The Panthers will host North Carolina next Thursday at Heinz Field.
