The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Denver Broncos 27-19 Sunday at Heinz Field, snapping a three-game losing streak. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw for two touchdowns and running back Najee Harris had his first career 100-yard rushing game. He joins Franco Harris as the only Steeler rookies to rush for at least a 100 yards and a touchdown in one of their first five games.
Wide receiver Chase Claypool caught five passes for 130 yards and one score. The Steelers lost Juju Smith-Schuster and Devin Bush to injuries during the game.
The Steelers will host the Seattle Seahawks for a Sunday Night Game this weekend.
Also in the AFC North:
–The Los Angeles Chargers defeated the Cleveland Browns 47-42 in a wild game in California. Justin Herbert threw for 398 yards and four touchdowns in the game. It was a record 11th 300-yard game for Herbert, most for any quarterback in the first two years of a career in the NFL. The Browns fell to 3-2.
–Cincinnati lost to Green Bay 25-22 in overtime. The Bengals are now 3-2. Both Green Bay and the Chargers improved to 4-1. Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow had to be taken to the hospital as a precaution after the game from a hit to the throat in the second quarter.
–Baltimore will host Indianapolis in Monday Night Football tonight at 8:15pm.
Sunday Night Football — Buffalo improved to 4-1 with a 38-20 win over the now 2-3 Kansas City Chiefs.
