Former second round draft pick Mike Adams has been released by the Pittsburgh Steelers after failing a physical. Adams was selected 56th overall by the Steelers in 2012 and started six games a rookie. He was involved in an early-morning stabbing in 2013 and his career stalled after that. Adams came out of Ohio State as a junior and was initially targeted as a possible number-one draft pick, but failed a drug test at the NFL comnbine.
