The Pittsburgh Steelers opened their season with a 38-16 victory on Monday Night Football against the Washington Redskins. Ben Roethlisberger connected with Antonio Brown for two touchdowns, DeAngelo Williams rushed for 143 yards and the Steelers forced five turnovers in the win. Williams had two rushing touchdowns, while Ben threw for 300 yards and three touchdowns. Eli Rogers picked up his first career touchdown reception.
The Steelers will host the Cincinnati Bengals for the home opener Sunday at Heinz Field. Kick-off is 1pm. WISR pre-game begins at noon.
Also last night, San Francisco defeated the Los Angeles Rams 28-0.
