The Denver Broncos trailed Cincinnati 14-0 early in Monday Night Football, but mounted a comeback that secured them a spot in the postseason with a 20-17 win. For the Steelers, a chance at the playoffs now comes down to the outcome of two games– and one scenario.
The Steelers fate will all be decided when 1:00 p.m. rolls around on Sunday as they face the Browns and the Jets head to Buffalo to take on the Bills. With a Steelers win and a Jets loss, the Steelers would make the playoffs. If the Jets win though, the season is over for the Steelers, no matter the outcome of their game against the Browns.
If the Steelers were to make the playoffs, they would enter as a six seed and would head to Cincinnati to play the Bengals, who would be the three seed because of their loss last night.
