The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Miami Dolphins 27-14 in Monday Night Football. The game got off to a rough start for the Steelers and quarterback Mason Rudolph when he threw an interception on his first pass of the game, and the Dolphins went on to build an early 14-0 lead in the first quarter. It would be the only points Miami would score in the game, as the Steelers went on to put up 27 unanswered points.
The Steelers defense held the Dolphins to 60 yards rushing. Steelers running back James Conner rushed for 145 yards and a touchdown. Rudolph ended his night going 20 of 36 for 251 yards, two touchdowns and the interception. Juju Smith-Schuster caught five passes for 103 yards.
However, Conner was injured on his final carry of the game, suffering a shoulder injury.
The victory improved the Steelers record to 3-4. They remain two games behind the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North.
The Steelers will host the Indianapolis Colts this Sunday at 1pm at Heinz Field.
