The Steelers have cut running back/kick returner Dri Archer and signed former Baltimore Ravens receiver/kick returner Jacoby Jones off waivers. Jones had been cut by the San Diego Chargers Tuesday.
The Cincinnat Bengals improved to 8-0 with a 31-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton threw three touchdowns, completing 78% of his passes for the night. The Bengals held Johnny Manziel to 168 yards passing and one touchdown.
The 1-8 Detroit Lions have fired both their team president Tom Lewand and general manager Martin Mahew. They had replaced their offensive coordinator.
