Shaun Suisham, a kicker for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is officially a United States Citizen after a ceremony in Pittsburgh earlier this week.
Suisham, who has been with the Steelers since the 2010 season, was born in Canada. He gained U.S. citizenship on Wednesday in a ceremony with 31 others from 14 different countries.
Suisham, who signed a deal with the Black and Gold in 2014, is expected to compete against kicker Chris Boswell in Training Camp this season. Suisham’s contract runs through the 2018 season.
