The Pittsburgh Steelers signed defensive lineman Cam Heyward to a new six-year contract that will pay him nearly $10 million per season. The 26-year old Heyward was in the final year of his rookie contract, after being drafted in the first round by the Steelers in 2011. Heyward has 106 tackles and 15 sacks in his four seasons with the Steelers. His contract is worth a total of $59.25 million. The Steelers open training camp next Saturday.
