The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 24-16 in preseason football last night. Former #1 draft pick of the Washington Football team, Dwayne Haskins, led the Steelers from a 13-0 deficit to the victory. Haskins went 16-of-21 for 161 yards in four possessions with one touchdown pass. Mason Rudolph started the game at quarterback and was 8-of-9 for 77 yards, but did not lead the Steelers to a score.
The Steelers will host the Detroit Lions next Saturday night for their only preseason game at Heinz Field. The Steelers visit Carolina on August 27th – then begin the regular season in Buffalo in one month – Sunday, September 12th.
