The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed cornerback Cam Sutton to a one-year league-minimum contract Wednesday. The team made the move to help fill their defensive backfield knowing he will be facing NFL discipline, and a likely suspension after his arrest in a domestic incident. Sutton was a third-round draft choice in 2017 who had eight interceptions in six seasons with the Steelers. He was released earlier this year by the Detroit Lions after his arrest. He had signed a three-year $33 million contract as a free agent with the Lions in 2022. More than $22 million of that was guaranteed. Sutton started all 17 games and three playoff games for Detroit last season.
