The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Cincinnati Bengals for a Monday Night Football match-up tonight at Heinz Field. Kick-off is 8:15pm. Pre-game begins on WISR at 6:15pm. Both teams enter the night 0-3.

Former University of Pittsburgh wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald moved into second place on the NFL’s career receptions list Sunday. Fitzgerald now has 1,326 catches, moving past tight end Tony Gonzalez. Jerry Rice is the all-time leader with 1,549. Fitzgerald caught five passes for 47 yards Sunday.
Clemson’s 21-20 victory was apparently too close for voters within the Associated Press, and the Tigers have fallen from the top spot in the latest rankings. Alabama is the new #1 this week, with Clemson falling to #2. Georgia, Ohio State and LSU round out the top five.
Rutgers fired head coach Chris Ash four games into the season. The Scarlet Knights are 1-3 after losing to Michigan 52-0 Saturday. Rutgers went 1-11 last season and have not won in the Big Ten since 2017.
The Slippery Rock University football team defeated Seton Hill 55-14 Saturday to begin play in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division. Rock quarterback Roland Rivers III accounted for 423 yards and five touchdowns. The Rock topped the 500-yard offensive mark for the third time this year, and matched their 55-points per game average, which leads the nation. The #10-ranked Slippery Rock University football team is now 4-0. They travel to Erie to face Mercyhurst this Saturday.
