The Pittsburgh Steelers completed a trade with Seattle last night that brings veteran tight end Nick Vannett in for a sixth-round draft pick next year. Vannett is a fourth-year veteran out of Ohio State. He was drafted in the third round by the Seahawks in 2016. He has 16 career starts in the NFL. He had one catch for 13 yards when Seattle visited the Steelers two weeks ago.
Vancer McDonald suffered a shoulder injury in Sunday’s game with San Francisco.
The Steelers host Cincinnati Monday night at Heinz Field.
