Young people are invited to participate in a statewide contest to raise awareness about antibiotics.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health has launched the fourth annual Get Smart Competition for Young Artists and Writers. The contest is open to all kids 12 and younger who live in the state.
The competition gives young people the opportunity to express their creativity in order to educate the public about hygiene, vaccines and appropriate antibiotic use.
Competition submissions will be accepted through October 31 and winners will be announced during the second week of November.
