With inflation rising, a state lawmaker is proposing what she calls a “sales tax holiday.”
State Senator Lisa Boscola says retail prices have gone up significantly in the past year. Her proposed bill would suspend the Pennsylvania six percent sales tax for purchases made in June and July.
Boscola believes the state’s buying power is being cramped by inflation and this would provide temporary relief.
