Governor Tom Wolf is expected to veto a proposed new Congressional map that was passed out of the state Senate earlier this week.
This is the latest step in the process that experts believe will inevitably head to the State Supreme Court.
The Republican-led legislature and Wolf, a Democrat, have not been able to agree on a new Congressional map for Pennsylvania. So per state law, if the two sides can’t come to a compromise, the map is drawn by the State Supreme Court, which is what happened in 2019.
