With the election a month away, it is still not too late to apply to vote by mail.
The final day to apply to vote by mail is Oct. 29 and the ballot must be post marked by November 5 or delivered to the election office by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
After filling out your ballot there are some crucial steps you must follow.
- Seal the ballot in the secrecy envelope marked official election ballot
- Seal the envelope in the larger return envelope
- Sign and write the current date on the voter’s declaration on the large envelope.
If you do not receive your mail in ballot by election day you can vote provisionally at your polling place.
