The State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a driver who backed into a gas pump and then fled the scene last week in Muddy Creek Township.
Authorities say that around 8:30am on Friday, an unknown driver backed into a gas pump at the Citgo/Last Minite Mart. The driver, who is described as a larger white man in his 60’s with white hair, then fled southbound on Route 19.
Police say that the man, who was seen buying food at the Subway inside the convenience store prior to the crash, was driving a dark blue Jeep. The amount of damage to the pump is currently unknown.
