State police have released traffic enforcement data from the Easter holiday weekend.
Police say across the commonwealth, they investigated 532 crashes which caused six fatalities and nearly 100 injuries.
Alcohol was a factor in 45 of those accidents but no fatalities. State Police made 282 arrests for people who were driving under the influence and issued over 11,000 traffic citations.
Although the total number of crashes and injury related crashes was up this year compared to 2024, the number of DUI arrests and DUI-related crashes was down.
