More details are emerging from the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
State Police Commissioner Chris Paris testified in Washington D.C. yesterday that local law enforcement spotted Thomas Crooks about a half hour before the rally started.
State police alerted Secret Service about the suspicious person, but were told to text the information to a phone number. Less than a half-hour after that text was sent, Crooks opened fire on the rally.
Body camera footage was also released yesterday showing local officers talking with investigators after Crooks was killed. In the video, it says that members of Beaver County’s Emergency Service Unit spotted Crooks earlier and went to look for him. However, they lost track of him by the time Crooks had gotten onto the roof.
