Police are investigating a couple of burglaries were reported in Butler County earlier this week.
According to State Police, both incidents occurred on Monday, March 20th. The first took place on Hardwood Road in Clearfield Township where an unknown person forced entry to a residence and left with miscellaneous items.
The second burglary was reported on Bricker Road in Winfield Township between 10 and 10:30 a.m. At that location, someone again forced entry into a residence, this time removing coins and other items.
Anyone with information about either of these crimes is asked to contact the Butler Barracks of the State Police at 724-284-8100.
Police are also asking for help determining the person or people responsible for two different burglaries in Mercer County last week.
According to State Police, the first incident occurred at a residence in East Lackawannock Township sometime between last Friday (3/17) and last Sunday (3/19). A man reported that someone broke into his garage and stole push mowers, tools, and a metal fuse box.
The second incident occurred sometime on Saturday, March 18th between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at Don Hicks Auto Service in Mill Creek Township. Someone reportedly entered a garage owned by that business and stole an Automotive diagnostic scanner valued at $8,000.
