Members of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s cabinet are in Butler County on Monday.
The officials traveled from Harrisburg to the Slippery Rock University campus for a series titled Cabinet In Your Community. The town hall-style discussion will take place Monday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Advanced Technology and Science Hall Auditorium.
State Insurance Commissioner Jessica Altman, Secretary of Conservation and Natural Resources Cindy Dunn, Director of the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency Richard Flinn and the Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding are all expected to be there.
The series was launched by the Wolf Administration last year to provide a platform for engagement between state administrators and the residents they serve.
“It is important for the state to hear from communities in every part of the commonwealth to learn how we can support them and allow everyone to feel connected to Harrisburg,” Gov. Wolf said in a statement. “We are working hard to visit every corner of the commonwealth and I look forward to obtaining feedback from members of my cabinet on the issues important to each community.”
