Starting today, state owned liquor stores will be open longer to sell their products due to new alcohol laws.
These state stores, also known as Fine Wine and Good Spirits, will now be open on Sundays from 11am until 7pm. Before these new laws, state stores that did operate on Sundays were only allowed to be open from 12pm to 5pm.
Additionally, lottery tickets will be sold at the stores. Approximately half of the Fine Wine and Good Spirit stores will be selling tickets, with more to come in the next few months.
