Congressman Mike Kelly of Butler says that the attack poses a “threat to freedom in Europe and America’s NATO allies.” He also believes this attack is the beginning of a global threat against the U.S.
Senator Bob Casey says the death and destruction is the sole responsibility of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Meanwhile Senator Pat Toomey is urging President Biden to impose the “strongest sanctions possible” to cripple Russia’s economy.
