A state representative is looking to privatize the liquor stores in Pennsylvania.
Republican Natalie Mihalik of Allegheny County wants the voters to decide whether or not the state should get out of the wine and spirits business.
She’s proposing that it go to a Constitutional amendment, where the voters have to decide at the polls.
This isn’t the first time lawmakers have tried to privatize the liquor stores, with the last effort happening in 2015 which was vetoed by Governor Tom Wolf.
