Lawmakers have agreed on a new state budget for this fiscal year.
The $45.2 billion budget received overwhelming support in the state Senate passing 47-3.
There are no new tax increases for residents, and the corporate net income tax was lessened.
There’s also significant funding heading to counties to help with their election departments.
Lawmakers say there was a big increase in funding for public education.
